Updated 11 October 2026.
We store your submitted questions, conversations, result cards, pins and briefs to keep your conversations. Questions and relevant conversation context are sent to our configured AI provider to generate answers.
We send submitted prompt text, its timestamp, conversation ID and your internal TokConnect user ID to PostHog. This includes prompts stored before 30 September 2026. Your PostHog profile also holds your account email address, plan, sign-up date and the country of your last signed-in visit (derived from your IP address by our network provider), along with account events such as connecting an AI app, research usage per tool, checkouts and subscriptions. We use this information to understand what people ask and how they use TokConnect, improve research quality, support customers and troubleshoot the product. Events also describe feature use, research steps, response timing, errors and upgrade clicks.
Prompts are linked to your account, not anonymous. We do not intentionally send authentication tokens, passwords or cookies as analytics properties. Common credential patterns in prompts are redacted, but this cannot detect every secret: do not include passwords or sensitive personal information in questions. Unsubmitted drafts and full assistant answers are not exported by the prompt analytics process, and session replay is disabled.
You can delete conversations in the app. That does not automatically remove copies previously sent to PostHog. Contact hello@tokconnect.com for privacy questions or a request to delete your analytics data.
